Abstract (EN)
The Telhis Book, which is among the important sources in terms of the history of the Ottoman Empire and constitutes the subject of our study, is among the books that contain the functioning of the ilmiye organization in the 19th century. In these books, contain the records of the appointments, promotions, extension of their terms of office, changes in their civil service, and dismissals of the scholar. In this respect, it has a great importance in terms of both the Ottoman ilmiye organization and biography studies. The subject of our thesis is the transcription and assessment of Telhis Book numbered I belonging to Shaykh al-Islamate (pp.1-82). The ledger consists of 166 leaves in total. The chapter, which is the subject of our thesis, contains the donations made between the years 1288-1295, Gregorian 1871-1878. There are blank leaves, texts with no date specified and no identification number given in the notebook. There are also duplicate page numbers in the book.
