Abstract (EN)

The 21st century we are in has brought along a digital process. Technological developments have made progress in every field and have created different universes. Reality perception comes out of human imagination; distinguishing and noticing features have begun to be lost. Jean Baudrillard and his theory, simulation, dealt with the development of the 21st century world in the 1980s. This era started with television and progressed through the socialization of the media, which paved the way for the formation of cinema and virtual universes. The series and films in the cinema industry report the summary of the era. The movie Nerve and the Clickbait series, which we will examine in our study, show us how a simulation universe is constructed and becomes operational. In our study, by using content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, an in-depth analysis of the scenario and editing of the TV series and movies will be made, and it will be tried to explain how people live or are kept alive in a simulation
