Şinasi Özdenoğlu (His life, art, works)

The purpose of the work titled "Şinasi Özdenoğlu (His Life, Art, Works)" determine of the place on history of literature by examining the life, art and works of Şinasi Özdenoğlu who has published works in many types of literature. It is also among the aims of the study to introduce Özdenoğlu to the scientific world and to source new works on this subject. The study includes the introduction of the artist's biography and nineteen works published outside of his artistic life, his writings in periodicals, his works and what has been written about him, the evaluation of his poems and stories. As a result of the examinations, it is seen that Şinasi Özdenoğlu wrote works in the genres of poetry, poetic prose, scrutiny, story, and memory, and strongly demonstrated his identity in each of these genres. As an artist known for his poems in his art life, Özdenoğlu has a sense of poetry that is free from image and abstraction, and which is identified with society. Although the artist shapes his art in the 1940 Generation in Turkish literature, he does not feel close to an ideology or a literary community. Therefore, considering the publications of Şinasi Özdenoğlu, it can be said that it has a original position in Turkish literature.
