Abstract (EN)

Rivalry between two super power during the Cold War which is asserted that it has ended by dissolution of USSR, has reemerged distinctly on the former Soviet geography by 2000's. Georgia, is one of the most overtly seen states of this rivalry which has been assertedas a renewed Great Game between US and RF. 1990's was a period of economic and political instability and civil wars for Georgia. US-RF rivalry on Georgia, which opened the doors of a new era by the 2003 Rose Revolution, has emerged in different areas. The breaking points and events that caused this distinction has directed the next term policies of the parties. In this thesis, it is going to be evaluated the rivalry between US-RF on the basis of Georgia and be analyzed how the breaking points of the rivalry forms parties's policies on Georgia.
