Abstract (EN)

Søren Kierkegaard, one of the most important representatives of the existentialism movement in the world, is a religious scholar and philosopher. Kierkegaard grew up in a strict atmosphere and this environment also influenced his philosophical thoughts. In this study, the reflection of Kierkegaard's understanding of human on his understanding of education is discussed. The main purpose here is to explain Kierkegaard's views on education on a philosophical basis, based on people and religion. In our study, Kierkegaard's educational philosophy on a human basis was examined and the target, content, educational situations and measurement and evaluation issues were evaluated. In this way, in Kierkegaard's understanding of education; It has been seen whether education will be in the position of support or obstacle in finding the meaning of human. For this, the concepts of Kierkegaard's philosophy such as freedom, choice, responsibility, anxiety, singular individual, synthesis, fields of existence and self, which constitute the main lines of human beings, are examined and the relations of these concepts with education. In addition, Kierkegaard's criticisms of traditional schools, who tried to convey the human condition in the modern period, were expressed and current problems were discussed. In our research, a theoretical study was carried out by transferring the solutions presented for the problems.
