The relationship of social entrepreneurship with commercial entrepreneurship and a model proposal

Abstract (EN)

Since entrepreneurship is a very important concept for social entrepreneurship, the concept of entrepreneurship is discussed in detail in the first part of the study and the topic of social entrepreneurship is explained in detail in comparison with commercial entrepreneurs. For it explains all dimensions of commercial entrepreneurship it was not explained in a separate part. But interviews made by commercial entrepreneurs are sprinkled on this work and necessary information is given.This research was conducted by analyzing the data obtained from 87 business entrepreneurs and 89 social entrepreneurs.In the last part of the study, the questionnaire data of the field survey was evaluated and factor analysis and reliability analysis were applied to the reliability of collected data in IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. Thereafter Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z test was applied for variables, in order to conduct parametric tests and independent sample t-test, one-way anova, regression analysis and chi-square test were applied to investigate the relationship betveen social entrepreneurship and commercial entrepreneurship. It was aimed to make a model proposal by examining the data in the direction of the analyzes made and to contribute a permanent example to the future with the conclusion, discussion and suggestions. The research consists of both open-ended questions and Likert-type scales and has both qualitative and quantitative research features. According to the findings it is obtained from that the social sensitivity levels of social entrepreneurs were found, tend to be higher than commercial entrepreneurs. In addition, it was found that commercial entrepreneurs' economic benefit purpose levels were higher than social entrepreneurs.In the framework of the model established in the research, it has been determined that the desire to provide economic benefit, and then stability and determination are at the forefront of the factors that influence the belief in the success of the initiative when a commercial entrepreneur has made.According to findings, it has been determined that social sensitivities are the main factors influencing and triggering the belief that a social entrepreneur is successful in the initiative he has made, followed by stability and decisiveness.Also it has been determined that if the social sensitivity of a social entrepreneur is not sufficient, the desire to provide economic benefit, stability and determanition are the main factors influencing the belief that a social entrepreneur is successful in the enterprise.
