Social media and Facebook usage habits of high school teachers

In this study, social media, Facebook and Facebook usage habits of high school teachers have been studied. The aim of this research is exhibiting the habits and the purposes of Facebook users who are the teachers from 75. Yıl Cumhuriyet High School, Antalya Barosu Girls? Technical and Vocational HighSchool, Envar Private School and Hacı Malike Mehmet Bileydi Anatolian High School. In this research, qualitative research method and interview techniques were used. Semi-structured interview technique was used. Questions prepared in advance and these questions written in the form of interview questions. The results of the negotiations are resolved by using ?descriptive analysis? method. Our basic assumption of this study is that Facebook usage is not affected by person?s marital status, birth place, age or gender. And high school teachers use Facebook to communicate with their friend, also they use Facebook for education. In conclusion, at the end of this study, it has been realized that the assumption is true.
