Abstract (EN)
In our master's thesis titled "Alevism with its Socio-Cultural Dimensions (Malatya-Hekimhan District Hasançelebi Example)", the topics of Alevism, historical development of Alevism, beliefs and rituals of Alevism, understanding of hearth in Alevism, history of Hasançelebi and Hasançelebi Alevism are discussed. While creating our thesis, first of all, after conducting a wide literature search, we carried out various field studies in the region, made the necessary analyses and processed this into our thesis. Hasançelebi Alevism has rich rituals and maintains its activity today by managing not to be affected much by the migration factor. The living people of the region are making great efforts to fulfill all the conditions required by Alevism by takingcare of their cultural heritage to continue this tradition. Hasançelebi, which was located on the Spice Road in history and was used as a range during the Ottoman Empire's campaigns, still preserves this culture with various associations in order to keep the Alevism belief alive and inculcate future generations in this sense.
