Examination of sports high school students imagery skills and self-confidence levels

This study aims to examine the imagery skills and self-confidence levels of Adıyaman Sports High School students in sports and determine the relationship between them. The research employs relational survey models within the general survey approach. To achieve this goal, a descriptive method is used to determine the relationship between imagery attitudes and sport-specific self-confidence levels of students participating in school sports. A total of 194 students participated in the study, and data were collected from these participants. The data collection instrument used in the study was the "Sport Imagery Questionnaire." Descriptive statistical analyses, ANOVA, T-test, and correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. The mean and median values of the research group were examined by classifying them as high and low. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a relationship between sports imagination skills and self-confidence levels among Adıyaman Sports High School students in terms of certain variables.
