Abstract (EN)
The protracted conflict in Yemen has resulted in a dire humanitarian crisis and extensive devastation, necessitating significant attention and strategic analysis from researchers and decision-makers invested in the Yemeni issue. This thesis aims to examine the possibilities of attaining a comprehensive and lasting peace in Yemen by exploring the key factors and dynamics that contribute to the conflict. The study also sheds light on the roles played by local, regional, and international actors involved in the Yemeni conflict. Employing a descriptive and analytical approach, the research utilizes data analysis and logical interpretation to identify the primary drivers of the conflict. Additionally, the historical method is employed to gain insights into past events and their implications for the present and future. The study draws upon a diverse range of secondary sources, including scholarly studies, theses, articles, books, reports, and international treaties, sourced from reputable libraries and online platforms. By investigating possible paths to peace in Yemen, this research aims to provide important insights through the researcher's findings and recommendations, which it is hoped will have a valuable contribution to laying the foundations for building peace in Yemen, with the ultimate goal of establishing stability and security for the Yemeni people and the region in general.
