The concept of crime that disrupts public order obliges the social order to make more efforts for the protection of people. The concept of crime is at the forefront of problems that are important for all countries. Studies on crime show sensitivity in terms of the causes of crime, the way it is committed, the structure of the population and sociological qualities. Especially in contemporary states, the problem of crime has become an alarming problem that occupies the public's agenda compared to backward states. When we take a look at the dones in these states, it is observed that crime levels have increased at an alarming level. One of the aspects that have an impact on the formation of the concept of crime is the social and cultural construction of society. The structure of society forms the accrual basis of the concept of crime. As much as the theme of crime is noteworthy, it also poses problems in defining the concept of guilt. In the compilation study, under the roof of the concept of crime, crime description, crime theories and psychological approaches are taken into consideration an effort will be made to explain it by using the literature.
