Abstract (EN)

Discussions about women have always been an up-to-date element from past to present. Being one of the important elements of the social structure, women have always been affected by the changes and innovations in the social context. Looking at the Ottoman Empire in general, each century has had a unique process of innovation and change. The century in which this process of change and innovation was most evident is the 19th century. With the not only the state levels and administration but also social life has changed. An important aspect of this social change is that the position of Ottoman women in society began to be discussed. In line with the discussions, the position of Ottoman women in society started to become clear with the declaration of the First Constitutional Monarchy. Women began to collapse as many taboos stereotypes relating to the status of my case the idea of women toluene modernization, life style, working life, was reflected in the concept of entertainment and apparel styles. With this study, the reflection of change on women's social life is handled with a general framework.
