Abstract (EN)
Environmental policies have been developed in order to protect the ecosystem in the world system where the human population has increased rapidly and natural resources have been consumed within economic activities irreversibly. Sustainable development goals that have emerged through the testing of ecological boundaries, which suggest a balanced relationship between the economy and the environment, have been developed on a global scale. This study was examined the environmental policies in Turkey within the sustainable development framework. This thesis examined the effects of Turkey's policies that implemented for prevention of global warming and climate change, protection of biological diversity and renewable energy usage. It was analyzed whether the policies for the solution of environmental policies adaptable and consistent with the concept of sustainable development.
