Abstract (EN)
In this study, a general aspect of behavior of saturated and unsaturated sand soils under dynamic loads is examined and especially effects of saturation, relative density and confining pressure on the dynamic properties of sand soils is determined by using resonant column test. Test results are presented by using analytical approaches. Determination of the behavior of soils under dynamic loading is one of the important problems of geotechnical engineering. In the scope of the experimental studies; dynamic parameters such as shear wave velocity and shear modulus of reconstituted Toyoura sand samples are determined. Experimental results are discussed by using Matlab program in the evaluation part of the study. Alternative equations are derived with 90 % relevance for estimation of shear modulus and shear wave velocity values.
