The syntax in the work Karayel Hüznü by Buket Uzuner

In this study, Buket Uzuner's "Karayel Hüznü", from Everest Publishing House is analysed in terms of the syntax, that is word order. In the introductory chapter, the objective and significance of the study, and the methods applied in the study are presented. Our study consists of two main parts, the life and the literary identity of the author, and the syntax of the work "Karayel Hüznü". In the part where the syntax is examined, first, the phrases and their functions in the sentence are examined by providing examples, then the sentence structure and frame, and the sentence analysis of the work are presented. At the end of the study, considering all these, a balanced judgement is made. Key Words: Word, Phrases, Sentence, Syntax, Karayel Hüznü.
