Abstract (EN)

In this study, Tagetes patula L. (Asterales: Asteraceae)'s silver nanoparticles water extract was determined in terms of contact effects, behavioral effects, and stomach poison effects against Sitophilus granarius (l.) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) ın laboratory conditions. T. patula was shown a toxic effect on S. granarius. 3rd day after application, mortality was found 62,92 at 100% doses. LD50 value was calculated 49,937 µl/adult insect. The effect of behavior was evaluated by choice test. The lowest weight loss on grain (15,56%) and the highest mortality (61,67%) on insects were found at 100% doses. Stomach poison by antifeedant effect was found 23,33% and mortality due to the antifeedant effect was found 57,61%. As a result, It was determined in this study that T. patula's silver nanoparticles water extract could be a biopesticide with the potential to be used against S. granarius.
