Abstract (EN)
In the study titled Religious Terminology in Historical Turkic Dialects, it is aimed to study a corpus created by scanning the Orkhon, Uyghur, Karakhanid, Khwarezm and Kipchak periods and major selected works from these periods. This study, which was prepared as a master's thesis, consists of two parts: A Brief Overview Historical Turkish Language Field and Thematic Vocabulary Analysis. In the first part, the field of Historical Turkish language, the above-mentioned periods and the literary fields of the periods were mentioned and a brief introduction of the works belonging to these periods was made. In the second part, which is the main part of the study; Religious expressions belonging to these five periods were scanned from the works in the light of the available data, and a thematic classification study was made. Then, by making a periodic comparison, both the periods in which the term was used and the periods in which it did not occur were specified respectively. The aim of this period comparison is; The aim is to show the developmental stage of the expression in linguistic geography, its origins and how its morphology has changed over the centuries. This periodical study reveals how the Central Asian Turkish societies' interactions with neighboring nations, especially on the occasion of geography, and how the changes in religion had an effect on words. For example, the expression "belgü" in pre-Islamic Turkish societies is "trace, sign; While it means "sign, engagement", its witnessing as "verse" with the acceptance of Islam and taking on a religious meaning has been an indication that the change in religion is also reflected in the language.
