Application of quality management processes in design

Quality Management Processes in Design is a method used in order to complete aProject within pre determined scope schedule and budget. Design Projects which arenaturally different than construction projects require a different type of road map inorder to satisfy the scope and time limitations without any errors. Quality ManagementProcesses provide a framework in order to satisfy this need and it starts wih the decisionmatrixes at the proposal stage.The aim of the study is; to define the pieces that form the Quality ManagementProcesses, contribute to the indigenous literature and to investigate the applicability ofQuality Management Processes in the Design Industry. For this purpose; the study oftheoretical knowledge and literature review, the importance of quality, total qualitymanagement concepts are explained and the total quality management in the QMP ofimportance was mentioned, QMP phases in detail were investigated. The Processessection describe the purpose of the study and main items. Interrelations betweenProcesses Section describes the main process groups and how interrelations can bemapped in order to provide an easy solution to apply this method to different projects.In the results section, the Quality Management Process and obtained the results wereevaluated.
