Abstract (EN)
In this research, an alternative portable system has been presented to analyze the free chlorine and pH parameters in drinking and utility water using the colorimetric method based on image processing. The proposed system is based on the detection of the color of the water from the water samples as a result of the drip of the agent, and the analysis by image processing techniques and artificial neurol network. According to the measurement results obtained from the system, the proposed method was found to have an accuracy of 99.39% for free chlorine concentration and 99.64% for pH value. The results of the analysis showed that the proposed method can be used to determine the free chlorine and pH values in drinking water, swimming pools, well waters, aquaparks.
