Abstract (EN)

Tablighi Jemaat, established in the Mevatregion of India under the leader ship of Mevlana Muhammad Ilyas Kandehlevi, continues its activities in many countries today. The aim of the Jemaat is to build an Islamic society as in the period of Hz. The Prophet (pbuh). More than five million Muslims gather at the annual meetings organized by the Tablighi Jemaat. These meetings caused their activities to take attention. The Jemaat thinks that Muslims should learn their religion from Qur'an and Sunnah which are the main sources of Islamic religion and that the generation of the Companions should be taken as an example. They observed that it is difficult for people to come to the madrasa and learn about religion. That's why, in the frame work of six principles they determined as firm belief in the KalimahTawheed, concentration and devotion in Salah, Ilmand dhikr, Ikram-i-Muslim, Ikhlas-i-Niyyat and Dawato Tabligh, they teach the religion of Islamand do tabligh to command the goodness and do away with evil.The Jemaat began its tabligh in Turkey in the 1950's. It's members in Turkey act in accordance with the general prenciples. In tabligh there told the six principles and the life of the Companions. Besides, there aren't mentioned about political and controversial issues. They encourage and invite Muslim stotake the time for the tabligh. Tablighi Jemaat in Turkey has found a less social response than other countries where Muslims live.
