A comparative analysis of İbnu'l-Jazari's et-Temhid and en-Neşr in the context of tajweed subjects

Abstract (EN)

In this study, the works named as et-Temhîd fî 'ilmi't-tecvîd and en-Neşr fi'l-kırâ'âti'l-'aşr which are the source books that were written by İbn al-Jazari (d. 833/1429). In the first stage of the study, the sources that Ibn al-Jazari used and included in her works were scanned. Based on the periods of its writing, et-Temhîd fî 'ilmi't-tecvîd, which he wrote chronologically much earlier, was subjected to a detailed reading as much as possible and the findings obtained were en-Neşr fi'l-kırâ'ati'l-aşr tried to be evaluated academically with a comparative analysis within the framework of the tajweed subjects. The study consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction part, the subject, purpose, importance, method and systematic of the research are given and then first part was started. In the first part; In the first stage, it was prepared the ground on the life, teachers and works of Ibn al-Jazari who is the author of both works and focused on giving information about the general features of the works named en-Neşr fi'l-kırâ'ati'l-aşr and et-Temhîd fî 'ilmi't-tecvîd as the main subject of the thesis. In the second part; which includes the comparative analysis of the two works over the tajweed subjects,respectively; the numbers of the maharaj of the letters, the maharaj of the letters, the adjectives of the letters and tanween, med and kasr, waqf and ibtida, waqf and ibtida subjects occurs on prepositions were compared. The findings obtained and the predictions and evaluations based on these findings have been tried to be shared with the academic world under the title of "Conclusion".
