Abstract (EN)

The aim of the research is to make a semiotic analysis on the example of the "Vuslat" series, in which Sufi teachings are also made. It is to present the importance of deep Sufi meanings and to emphasize that the narrative of a series formed in this context is strong with Sufi meanings. In this sense, Ibn Arabi's world of thought and Satranc-ı Urefa were used. In the section where the studies were carried out within the scope of "Soufism and Cinema", no "internal" view was found in terms of semiotic analysis in other theses and articles. Although the studies touched on different points, a thesis that was fully identified with Ibn Arabi's world of thought could not be found. Even though it is mentioned that, story analysis was made rather than semiotic analysis. Considering the thesis in this context, the "Vuslat" series was examined with the method of semiotics. In the series, Ibn Arabi's epistemological approach and symbolic approach with a mystical aspect are emphasized together with the play of Satranc-ı Urefa. It was determined that the meanings were very intense together with Ibn Arabi and Satranc-ı Urefa in the series, and semiotic analyzes were included from this perspective.
