Abstract (EN)

Objectıve: Tendon autograft was used in OCD treatment in this study. We aimed to investigate the clinical and radiological results of patients treated with tendon autograft for the treatment of knee OCD in our clinic and the results was evaluated in the light of literature and compared the efficacy of the this method with other treatment techniques. Methods: In this study 16 knees of 15 patients were operated. The patients' mean follow-up period was 45.88 months. Peroneus longus tendon was used as tendon autograft in patients. Tendon was shaped appropriately for defect form and placed defect area. Postoperative cylindrical plaster was used. The patients were immediately loaded. The plaster was removed after four weeks and knee exercises were started. Patients were called for control 15 days later and then follow-ups continued monthly, and then every 6 months. Conclusıon: It was seen that the patients had no pain on their follow-ups, returned to their jobs and there was no limitation about their joint movements. It was seen that the findings of degeneration did not progress radiologically. It was detected that graft was filling defect area on MRI. Result: It has been concluded that tendon autograft can be used as an easy, cheap, reliable and single session method for OCD treatment.
