Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to examine the reflections of the Turkish national struggle in the East Turkestan in the 20 th century to the foreign press. Accordingly, we examined The New York Times, one of largest circulated newspapers in America. As a result of this review, because of the propaganda and censorship of China, ıt was seen that the struggle of the Turks for their freedom in eastren Turkestan did take not taken place much in the world press. The most important foreign strategic position of East Turkestan and its natural resources were in the foreign press.
