Abstract (EN)
In this study, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach was used for the first time to the OLS Bisector technique which is one of the Type II Regression techniques. In order to measure the performance of this newly created ANN Bisector technique, the OLS was compared with the Bisector technique. Firstly, the literature is given on ANN and Type II Regression techniques. In line with this information, the comparison between OLSbased bisector technique and ANN-based bisector techniques has been made. In order to compare these two techniques, different distributions and different sample volumes were modeled. "Mean Absolute Percentage Error" (MAPE) criterion was used to compare the performance of these models. As a result of the study, ANN-based bisector technique yielded better results with lower error than OLS-based bisector technique. With this study, it is foreseen that it represents an example for the researchers who want to work in these fields in the future.
