Abstract (EN)

Due to the rapid increase in the world population, agricultural lands are divided by inheritance. This division negatively affects the yield in agricultural production. The main purpose of land consolidation projects; to plan according to modern agricultural techniques by uniting fragmented and distributed agricultural lands and to increase productivity in agricultural production by performing in-field development services such as road, stream reclamation, land grading, drainage. This research is based on the examination of the closed system irrigation project implemented together with the land consolidation project in Almus Town, Çevreli district of Tokat province. The number of parcels per enterprise, average parcel size, parcel shapes and total number of shares were compared before and after the land consolidation project. The rate of consolidation was calculated as 25% and the rate of participation in common facilities (loss rate) was calculated as 7.3789% in the research. Within the scope of land development services, the conditions of the parcels have road facility before and after the project were examined. While the rate of parcels have road facility was 38.49% before the project, this rate was calculated as 100% after the project. In the research, the closed system irrigation project implemented together with the land consolidation project was also examined. While the rate of parcels that could be irrigated before the project was 45.61%, it was determined as 100% after the land consolidation project. In addition, in the satisfaction questionnaire conducted among randomly selected farmers in Çevreli Town where the research was conducted, the rate of satisfied ones was determined as 78%.
