Abstract (EN)
In this study, composite material with Al+Si matrix was produced by powder metallurgy method. Studies were carried out on a total of 8 samples. Al+Si powder is supplemented with 5%, 10% and 15% Cr2O3 by weight. Samples produced by T/M method were mixed homogeneously at 45 rpm in mechanical mixers. Four different species having different proportions were obtained after homogeneous mixing. All species have a height of 15 mm and diameter of 12 mm. The obtained species later sintered at 500 MPa constant pressure and a temperature of 500 C for 60 minutes. Thereafter, four new samples were prepared which are identical to the previous ones. Then, these samples were sintered at the same pressure and time as the previous ones, but at 600 C. The mechanical properties of the reinforcement powders such as microstructure, hardness and abrasion resistance were investigated.
