Abstract (EN)

The democracy movements brought by the 2nd World War have set the groundwork for important political changes in Turkey as well as in the whole world. In addition, the CHP governance, which has long managed the country, has not been able to take adequate measures against the negative consequences of the war. At this stage, as a result of the intra-party opposition in the CHP, the path of a new opposition party opened and the Democratic Party was established. İn this study, Turkey's 1946-1950 elections were given a change in domestic policy. The opposition in the framework of the democratization process and the opposition seen in the Turkish press examined the and, in particular, the ruling-opposition dispute between DP and CHP has been addressed to reflections on Turkish Press.
