Abstract (EN)

By the 1960s, the understanding of group formation in the contemporary Turkish art scene changed and left its place to a new era in which individualization took its place. The Akatünvel Art Ensemble emerged in these years when Turkish art tended to individualize. While the ensemble is the first representative of the critical attitude towards individuality in our art history, it also holds the distinction of being the art community that has continued its existence in the Turkish art world for the longest time with its insistent attitude towards being a group. Integrity has been ensured in terms of formalform and intellectual dimension in the paintings of the community, which has been active with a unique aesthetic understanding and has been active with a unique aesthetic understanding until today, based on a common discourse and philosophy that they realize in a human-centered, ontological approach. In this study, the understanding of art, which reflects the worldview of the Akatünvel Art Ensemble, which has been in existence since its establishment in 1967 and is based on a theoretical basis, has been analyzed through the works of the artists and its appearance in practice has been revealed in a detailed analysis.
