Abstract (EN)

This study comprehensively examines Turkey's electricity production, consumption, and distribution systems. The current state of renewable and non-renewable energy sources in electricity production is analyzed, discussing their impact on energy supply security and environmental sustainability. Turkey's energy consumption data is evaluated in detail over the years, and regional and sectoral differences are analyzed using statistical methods. The current status and challenges of the energy distribution infrastructure are analyzed, with a particular focus on the potential integration of renewable energy sources into the electricity distribution network. Linear regression models and other statistical methods were employed during the data analysis processes, enabling an in-depth examination of energy production and consumption trends and making future projections. The findings provide strategic recommendations that aim to reduce Turkey's dependence on energy imports, enhance energy efficiency, and minimize environmental impacts. This study serves as a guiding framework for innovative solutions and sustainable energy management for both the energy sector and policymakers.
