Abstract (EN)

The Syrian Refugee Crisis, where more than 19 million people have had to leave their homes, is one of the biggest crises in world history. The experience of refugees has importance for individuals and countries by the impact of the migrants on their personal history and the impact on the social, cultural, economic and political history of the countries. These experiences should be evaluated with the number of Syrian refugees approaching 4 million remaining under Temporary Protection, which allows for Turkey as an opportunity to analyze the structural deficiencies and future planning. In this study, after the overall refugee experience are discussed the issues of displacement, migration, social integration, sovereignty; the same issues will be reviewed as specific to the refugee experience in Turkey and the Syrian refugee women in Turkey. The study is also included the results of in-depth interviews conducted with Syrian women refugees in 2019 and documented the experiences of Syrian women.
