Abstract (EN)

Electricity has become an irreplaceable source of energy which people need the most. Along with the increasing demand of electrical appliances that make life easier and more comfortable in all areas of our life, the production and consumption amounts of electric energy also increase. For this reason, ensuring that the users are delivered efficient, safe and seamless electricity is as important as the production of electricity. Generally, electricity generated far from city centers is transported by high voltage lines to the city centers. After this point, companies that undertake electricity distribution play a major role in ensuring that energy is being delivered to the users uninterruptedly and in good quality. Electricity distribution services in our country are carried out by 21 private companies in 21 distribution districts determined by TEDAŞ. The distribution of electricity energy for both distribution companies and consumers is important in terms of economy, efficiency and security. With this thesis study, it is aimed to convey important issues related to the concept of quality of energy supply continuity in the electricity distribution sector of 2016, to analyze the quality of distribution companies supply continuity and to be a reference for future works. The aim of the work is not to demonstrate the optimal supply continuity performance, but to give information about the current state of supply continuity and to gain a perspective on current applications.
