The effective factors the formation of entrepreneurship culture in Turkey and Denizli sample

The contribution of the entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurs to the rapideconomic development in this continually changing and improving world is by allmeans very important. In this sense, it is obvious that the above mentioned developmentisn?t sufficient and this is because of inadequate entrepreneurship. One of the mainreasons for this insufficient development in entrepreneurship is that it requires risk, andthere is no sufficient financial back up. However, it is already known thatentrepreneurship is the risk itself, and even without enough financial supplies, thisshortcoming cannot be counted as the major reason for not being an entrepreneur.Our paper is about entrepreneurship and its culture, and consists of threechapters. In the first chapter, we gave a general definition for entrepreneurship;presented its importance, and stressed that entrepreneurship is a cultural notion, sobesides culture, education is also necessary for improving entrepreneurship, and thuseducational institutes have to do their best so as to establish a developedentrepreneurship culture.The second chapter consists of the history of entrepreneurship in Turkey, itscurrent position, typical characteristics of Turkish entrepreneurs, whether thesecharacteristics are enough for the future entrepreneurs of Turkey. In addition, weemphasized the responsibility of the educational institutions in developingentrepreneurship in Turkey.In the third chapter, the historical development of entrepreneurship and theculture of entrepreneurship in Denizli, which was our sampling area, were analysed. Wetried to explain and how this entrepreneurship culture yielded benefits to theentrepreneurs in Denizli and the reflection of the outcome via a questionnaire.
