Factors causesing terrorism and the continuity of terror organization in turkey: PKK example

Turkey has been a target of various terrorist organizations for a long time and continue to be a target. The PKK is one of the most important terrorist organization attacks against Turkey. PKK terrorism has caused serious damages in a way such as economic and humanitarian and has constituted one of the biggest problems. Turkey has achieved significant success in the fight against PKK terrorism. However, despite Turkey's all efforts, it has not been possible to completely eliminate ethnic-separatist terror. This has been due to the extensive use of many important factors, such as external support, vital financial resources, and the continuity of member participation, which keep terrorist organizations alive. The PKK has to turn to various resources in order to carry out its activities and make it permanent. Because terror activities are a process that requires continuity. Within this framework, the PKK benefits from all of the factors that will affect its continuity. In this context, Turkey's need to cut all their resources to destroy the PKK terrorist organization completely. Only in this way can prevent the continuation of terrorism. Otherwise,quest for success against terrorism will only remain a figment of imagination.In that regard, this study discusses how PKK constitutes the biggest terrorist threat to Turkey and the roles of the afore mentioned factors in ensuring the continuity of the separatist terrorist organization known as PKK.
