The funds in the struggle against poverty within Turkey

Abstract (EN)

Recently, social scientists and researchers have focused on the subject of poverty which is mostly interested in economics. Although the income of World countries have increased for a half-century, both developing countries and less-developed countries have not gained much from this total income increasing, moreover their financial conditions have become worse and they have faced with extreme poverty. 3 billion people which is accounted for nearly total population of the World keep their lives under 2 $ in a day and it means that they live under poverty line. Nearly, 1,5 billion people which is one-four of total population of all World keep their lives under 1$ in a day and it means that they keep their lives under hunger threshold. 20 million people who pass on at early ages in every each year account for one-third of all deaths in the World in a year. 50.000 people pass on everyday and 34.000 people of them are children. This indicators have shown us that something goes wrong in the World. Poverty is not only the problem for some specific countries, but also it is one of the most serious problem for all World countries. There are many different ways to struggle with poverty. In this study, which politics are implemented against the issue of poverty and the types of measures that fights for poverty have been adopted by countries. Additionaly, the social funds which is the most efficient way to fight with poverty in Turkey and their role of political economy will be examined.
