Ukraine and relations between Turkey and Ukraine

The aim of this thesis is to examine the relationships between Turkey and Ukraine that had not yet examined sufficiently. They have been analysed in their politic, military and economic aspects. The subjects considered being important, have been more detailly examined. Seen the importance of economics in the world politics, it is necessary to analyse economic relations between states. Security Thought of Terrorism Formations had provided new dimensions to the military relations. It is a realty that Political Relations comprise all subjects and aspects of the foreign relations. In describing the Relations between Turkey and Ukraine firstly acknowledges about Ukraine were given. Historical, geographical, political, military and economic structure of Ukraine and The Crimea where important factors influencing the two countries relations. Relations between the countries were increased since the independence of Ukraine dated from 1991. The Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation, signed on May 1992 and entered in force on April 1994, is the basic institutionnal frame of the bilateral relations. Turkey and Ukraine maintain actually high level of diplomatic relations. Ukraine is a new independent country, some problems could occur between Turkey and Ukraine. Turkey and Ukraine are members of several international organisations. Such as UN (the largest worldwide organisation), NATO (Ukraine is not a member of NATO yet) and BLACKSEAFOR (a regional military organisation), BSEC (a regional economic organisation). Those alignments contribute to develop relations between the two countries. This thesis examined the state of relations between Turkey and Ukraine, exposed the problems existing between them and proposed same possible solutions to their amelioration. It is important to Turkey and Ukraine to develop their relations on bilateral and multileral basis, in all spheres, economic, politic and cultural.
