Abstract (EN)
This study has been perfomed to determine and evaluate how demographic factors influence at the organizational citizenship behavior displaying as voluntary excep that job definitons of academic and administrative staff working at Gazi University. For these purposes, the employees were asked to prepared for demographic characteristics and dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior. 1044 academic and administrative staff participated to survey in 26 units at Gazi University. Demographic characteristics of the participants organizational citizenship behavior, altruism, scrupulousness, courtesy, sportsmanship, and civic virtue is diversity to aspects of the behavior in order to determine which of the analyzes evaluated and made some suggestions.It is conluded that the participants in the study enact the most a behavior for courtesy dimensional of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and respond positively to these size related questions. And it is also deduced there are differencies between the academic and administrative staff about the exhibition of the altruistic behaviors. Behind, the conclusions are showing that the participants who completed a part of their education lives at Gazi University and who did not receive education at Gazi University enact different behaviors on the alturistic dimensional of OCB. It is concluded the sex factor make no difference in acting behaviors including the dimensional of OCB. Keywords: Gazi University, Organizational citizenship behavior
