Abstract (EN)

The village social structures, which have a dynamic structure, have been transforming and changing depending on the conditions of the current period. From the foundation of the Republic to the present day are available a number of political and economic turning points affecting the social structure of villages in Turkey. While respective alternation occurs in villages, there may also be a number of environmental factors affecting village social structures. One of these environmental factors is the university campuses which affects in many respects the social structures of villages that located close to. University campuses located close to the village settlements have many effects on the peasants, such as economic, social, cultural etc. The relationship that got in with the university campus of the villages and the intensity of this relationship have been reflecting in their social structures. In this study, whereas the changing and transforming social structure of Fırıncı Village was dealth with, the effects of Inönü University located close to the village on this changing structure were analyzed.
