Abstract (EN)
ITIL is the most adopted IT Service management approach in the world. The number of the firms that adopting ITIL is rapidly rising. ITIL is adopting a lot of different organisations such as technology, retailers, education, finance and manufacturers to manage IT services effectively and efficiently. Adopting ITIL for organisations is a crucial work. Also implementing ITIL requires precision and rigorous work. In this paper, we conducted a survey to take academic and administrative staff's opinions about information technology services that they use and applicability of ITIL in Afyon Kocatepe University. We determined the needs for IT services presentation and how can ITIL provide these benefits. We try to answer these questions: "How is IT service presentation currently running, how do we deliver IT services and where are we according to ITIL." According to survery results, we determined the processes of ITIL that we primarily need. And also we prepared a theretical framework. This framework can give information about how to start ITIL.
