Abstract (EN)
This study is designed to be a guide for Geographical Information System (GIS)about Emergency Management System (EMS) applications. The purpose of this study isto give background information about Geographic Information System (GIS), to showhow to develop a GIS application step by step, and to analyze the benefits of performingGIS technology to emergency management in a general context. This study alsoprovides an example application on how the Emergency Services can use GIS inemergency response. Moreover, in this study to find the shortest path between twopoints in a very short time Djikarta Algorithm, which is one of the most importantalgorithms in this field, was used.
