Abstract (EN)

For Any built-up areas, direct line of sight (LOS) is an important issue to determine LOS probability values. If LOS probability values is determined, the intensity of the signal in regions of interest can be estimated correctly. Accordingly, propagation and path loss models can be created in regions which wireless communications are made. The most well-known 26 streets in the Trabzon digital map has been applied to various processes in ArcMap module of ARCGIS software. In this thesis, it has been recognized as the Earth's surface is flat. It is created an Matlab algorithm that calculates LOS probability. The most important parameter is the angle of elevation for LOS probability values. The most important parameter is the angle of elevation for LOS probability values. In addition this, azimuth angle doesn't take into this study. LOS probability for twenty-six streets is calculated depending on the angle of the elevation and LOS probability graphics are plotted. After that, it is observed that LOS probability values are the best compatible with Gompertz and Weibul distribution using cftool which is curve fitting in Matlab. To obtain the best compatible with these distributions, It is made some manipulations in Gompertz and Weibull distrubition cdf. Alfa,beta and gama parameters which are obtained as a result of GIS analysis of digital map are calculated for interested streets. Change of the three parameters are observed for the streets and it is made correlation analysis between this three parameters.
