Abstract (EN)

Image processing methods are used effectively in obtaining valuable information about the earth surface. Satellite images can be processed and analyzed with these methods. Studies carried out for target determination on these iamges can generally be evaluated in two classes. In the first class anomaly detection methods, image analysis can be done using the information that the target is different from the rest of the image. In the second class, the similarity between the spectral signature of the previously acquired information of target and each pixel in the image is found and the content and location of the target are determined. In the study, the similarity criterion of target minerals based on comparing the observational image of the hydrocarbon appering spectrum bearing spectrum with a reference spectrum (spectral library) was used. The classification of target minerals was made on the Python programming language platform, the open source "EnviPyEngine" library offered by the ENVI program. The results were compared with Spectral, XRD analysis and Band ratio technique results on the samples taken from the region. The model was developed on the basis of the Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM) algorithm, which is the reference spectra method widely used in the literature. The model can be integrated into GIS and Remote Sensing software that support the Python programming language and can be used as an alternative method for researchers.
