Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to determine the parameters of growth kinetics limiting nutrient of the benthic diatom Navicula accomoda. In this research, the impacts of light, temperature and nutrients on the growth of Navicula accomoda were investigated under continuous-light period and batch culture conditions. As a results, the optimum temperature and light intensities were found as 18 °C and 300 ftCd (saturasyon light), respectively. The values calculated for each nutrient are: 3,36 doubling/day, 51,4 μg-at-NH4 + -N / L for phosphate, 2,94 doubling/day for nitrate, 32,1 μg-at 1NO3 -N /L . The limiting nutrient is found as phosphate.
