Vâhidî's Cinânü'l-cenân (analysis-text)

In this graduate degree thesis titled as Vâhidî?s Cinânü?l-cenân (Analysis-Text), some remarks were made about the Poet Vâhidî and his literary personality and artistic aspects were tried to be identified. The work named Cinânü?l-cenân has got two copies we could find. One is a handwritten manuscript and the other is the printed version. In this study, similarities were put forward by way of comparing the two copies mentioned above. The thesis consists of three chapters.In the introductory chapter, the life and literary personality of the poet were tried to be determined by scanning the written sources belonging to his period.In the first chapter, a brief analysis of Cinânü?l-cenân was made in terms of its form and content propertiesIn the second chapter, a comparative transcription text was prepared by comparing the two copies of Cinânü?l-cenân. In addition, the copies were introduced before the transcript text and methods were explained as to how the text was formed. Finally, a short index was placed at the end of the text.In this thesis, the text of the study which has definitions of 228 aphorisms and two copies was written and the value of the poet and his study was examined in the light of the history of Turkish literature.
