Abstract (EN)
Purpose of our research is identify possible risk factors by evaluating the medical and sociodemographic characteristics of victims, their families, and abusers; especially in the evaluation of medical findings. From January 2011 to December 2015, 339 cases referred to the Adnan Menderes University Medical Faculty Forensic Medicine Dean's Policlinic by the judicial authorities were screened retrospectively. SPSS 2.0 program was used for evaluation of the obtained data and evaluation was made with the aid of Chi-square significance test. In our cases, the mean age of victims was 18,87 ± 9,4; 51.8% of the victims were found to be in primary education level. It was found that 43.3% of the victims were students, 58.5% of the victims were living together, 76% of the victim's mothers and 66% of the victim's father were the primary school graduates. The average age of the defendants was 26,82 ± 12,2 in the 266 cases, 39,3% of the abductees were close friends / partners, 33,3% of the abuse cases were in the defendant's home and 15,5% it is understood to be used alcohol. 60.7% of the vaginal findings were found in the first 72 hours and on the first day, the use of alcohol was investigated and the relationship between alcohol use and finding was found to be significant (p = 0,03ޒ0,05). Findings of the first 96 hours were also correlated with the finding of 96- hour post-hoc findings by using the Chi-square test and it was found that there was a significant correlation between them and the significance of finding the first 96 hours was found (p = 0,00ޒ0,005). The use of digital multispectral videocolposcopy and staining method is considered to be the reason for the high incidence of findings on the fourth day. It is possible to prevent the sexual abuse cases by taking necessary precautions in the field of education or in the social field.Sexual abuse cases should be examined and concluded in centers which have necessary training, experienced and experts in the field, multispectral videocoloscopy and auxiliary painting techniques are used, photodocumentation is made, necessary navy and consultation facilities are available. In this case, it is possible to solve the cases faster. Key Words: Sexual abuse, genital findings, risk factors
