History of Wusun

While preparing our thesis "History of Wusun", our aim was to examine the political history, geography and culture of the Wusuns by means of trying to determine their origin. The fact that Wusuns, which have an important place in Turkish history, have not been studied in detail until now and many researchers studied only some subjects of the Wusuns, encouraged us to study the history of the Wusuns as a whole. Our main goals were to study their political history in detail, to be able to solve the geographical conflict they live in, to make determinations about their cultural history and to express our own opinion by supporting some parts and opposing some parts of the views on the origin of the Wusuns. While doing our research, we obtained Chinese main sources and translated and used them. In addition to these, we also benefited from research studies written in Turkish and English to support our views. We tried to examine the history of Wusun as a whole in all its aspects.
