Abstract (EN)

Simav has been under the auspices of many communities from prehistoric times to today has continued to exist. With the arrival of the Turks in Anatolia in 1071 Turkish domination started in Simav. In the Ottoman Empire, Simav has the status of an accident. Generally, Simav is administratively linked to Kütahya province. Simav, Şeyh Bedrettin rebellion, Suhte events and Nasuh Ağa during the Ottoman period case has experienced quite a troubled time in history. Simav gave important struggles against enemy attacks in the War of Independence. Temettuat books, which started to be recorded in the middle of the 19th century, have been handled and examined in various aspects. Temettuat books contain important information about the Ottoman economy after the Tanzimat Period. In the Temettuat books, the names of the household heads, agricultural products (vineyard, garden, orchard) etc. Their animals, and the income of families. These notebooks today, it is possible to find it from the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives. In our study, according to the temettuat registers, Simav accident in Kütahya Sanjak Socio-economic structure of Kalkan, Kestel, Kilise, Mamak, Samad and Yeniler villages tried to be examined.
