Abstract (EN)

In this study, the YBaCuO sample prepared by cold seeding method at Karadeniz Technical University, Science Faculty, the Research Laboratory of Solid State Physics, within the scope of the TÜBITAK (1001) project named 107T751 was used. XRD analysis, trapped magnetic field measurement and magnetization measurements showed that sample is a single crystal. It was found that Y211 phases were finer and located more homogeneous in second layer. It was determined from calculation of critical current density, that flux creep increased with temperature. Effects of temperature and magnetic field parameters on pinning mechanism of sample were found with ?Dew-Huges model?. Type and properties of pinning mechanism were found according to temperature and magnetic field parameters. It was seen, Y211 phase begin to be active when temperature risen to medium values and magnetic field risen to high values. It was understood that sizes of Y211 particles were smaller than ? penetration length hence these were order of almost coherence length.Key Words: YBaCuO, Y2O3 layer, Single crystal, Critical curent density, Flux pinning, Y211 phase
