Abstract (EN)

In this study, the Y123 sample prepared by cold seeding method at Karadeniz Technical University, Science Faculty, the Research Laboratory of Solid State Physics, in the scope of the TÜB?TAK (1001) Project named 107T751 was analyzed. Superconducting properties of the Y123 were carried out by using structural (XRD), electrical (R-T) and magnetization (M-H) measurements. Critical current density was calculated by extended Bean model. According to the results, Y123 is a single crystal and resistant to applied magnetic field compatible with activation energy and critical current density calculations. Fluctuation induced conductivity analysis was performed to investigate availability of the sample in technology. The analysis showed that critical exponents were in agreement with theoretical values, thus it was seen that superconducting properties of the sample was good and 3D fluctuation was dominant. Because of large c-axis coherence length (?c(0)) and small anisotropy superconducting properties will be getting better. Furthermore the fluctuations are reduced and it was understood that the effective availability of the sample in technology will be possible.Key Words: Y2O3 layer, Cold seeding method,
