In Turkish course books for a foreigners the learning of grammer

This study was conducted to evaluate Turkish course books for a foreigners, to make firm distribution of grammar subjects to the units in Turkish course books and to determine how teaching grammar is dealt with in Turkish course books. The scope of the study which was carried out by document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was composed of grammar subjects dealt at the levels of A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 in books issued in foreign language such as Yeni Hitit Turkish Course Book for Foreign Language, Gazi University Turkish Grammar Books for Foreigners,Yedi İklim Course Book Turkish for Foreigners. These sources were procured from TÖMER foundations of related universities during data collection, later, they were analyzed in terms of grammar. Many grammar rules, samples , activities and forms of grammar, some images and sample sentences which provided data to this study were given in APPENDIX part. At the end of the study, books Yeni Hitit Turkish Books for Foreigners, Gazi University Turkish Grammar Books for Foreigners to Yedi İklim Turkish Course Books for Foreigners were evaluated both positively and negatively, and it was made several suggestions for these sources under different categories.
